Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are the company’s newest flagship earbuds, featuring AI smarts like interpreter mode and voice detection. With 10.5mm dynamic drivers paired with 6.1mm planar drivers, sound quality will be top-notch. But a redesign that resembles Apple’s AirPods is the headlining change here, and Samsung has used this to enable new swipe and pinch gestures for the series.
You can’t really go wrong with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro if you’re looking for a solid pair of wireless earbuds. While they might not be the most talked about, they do deliver a solid experience that will leave you plenty satisfied. When we reviewed them, we really liked the sound they produced, even beating out the AirPods Pro.
They also featured a revamped design which made it easier to use, specifically when it came to controlling your listening experience. And while they come in at a fair price at $250, it doesn’t hurt to be able to get a discount when you can if you’re in the market. Right now, popular retailers are dropping the price by as much as $70.
If you need something new, give the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro a shot
Samsung took a big leap with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, changing the design from the previous model. While we’d love to say it was all for looks, the stalks introduced a more reliable way to interact with the earbuds, which was a small problem with the previous design. In our testing, we didn’t really feel as though the interactions were really all that precise, but it is an element that you can adjust in the software settings.
When it comes to the sound of these earbuds, it’s pretty good out of the box. But if you’re someone that likes to fine-tune the experience, that’s an option to use the equalizer found in the app. The earbuds also feature pretty good ANC. It isn’t the strongest in its category, but it is enough to cancel out the environmental sounds you experience in your day-to-day life. The earbuds also deliver great sound when you’re on a call, making it easy for your audience to hear your voice clearly.
As far as battery life, you can expect up to 30 hours or a little less with the ANC on. The charging is pretty simple, you just pop the earbuds into the case, and you can recharge them while you’re on the go. You can also plug in the case to charge or use a wireless charging pad to recharge the whole setup in its entirety. If there is one major caveat we have to point out, it’s that the earbuds work best when paired with a Samsung Galaxy device.
Just to be clear, you can pair these earbuds with any product with Bluetooth, but Samsung only unlocks the entire experience when connected to its own devices. So if this sounds like the pair of earbuds you’ve been searching for, grab them right now for a good price ahead of Black Friday.
