PS5 and Xbox Series X Expected to Beat Launch Figures of PS4 and Xbox One, Says Analyst

I’m not sure, man. The xbox one S, has been at least or below 150 bucks, and the xbox has barely moved. I saw a rumor (surprise surprise) that there’s going to be an xbox series s model for 300 bucks. There’s a good chance it will be download only if that model is actually a thing.

Do you think MS will do better with a $300 model because it’s cheap? MS has been up and down this gen with so many console models that I’ve lost count. If it didn’t pay off this gen, will it pay off next gen?

As for the PS5, well, you only have to look at the PS3 at $599 to see how that would probably end. It got beat down pretty hard at first. The gaming media was having a field day with the PS3, and cracking jokes like they were comedians on stage. It was rough at the start, but even then, the PS3 ended up selling more than the 360. If MS comes out with a budget model, will it even matter? Serious question.
