What Comes With the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S’s Sport Design Package?

The 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S is an undeniably attractive (and hugely powerful) car, but say you want to make it stand out a little more? Then Porsche‘s recently unveiled Sport Design package might interest you. While the sports car manufacturer initially showed photos of the package on a Lava Orange 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, it did not share the kit’s specifics or price. We now have details on those specifics, though, unfortunately, no word yet on its cost.

Porsche plans to offer the Turbo S’s Sport Design package in two grades: “regular” and “high-gloss black.” The standard grade nets buyers a reworked front spoiler with protruding side fins, body-color painted side skirts, and an active rear spoiler with distinct winglets at each end. Check the box for the optional Sport Exhaust system, and Porsche also paints the lower rear fascia in the car’s body color.

The high-gloss black option is only available with the Sport Exhaust system and nets much the same kit as the regular Sport Design package. Except in this instance, the side skirts, the rear spoiler’s automatically extending wing, lower rear fascia, and the center portion of the front spoiler are all painted in gloss black.

Using the price of the prior-generation 911 Turbo’s and current-generation 911 Carrera’s optional Aerokit exterior packages as a benchmark, the 992-series Turbo S’s Sport Design package will likely ring in at right around $7,000. That’s not cheap, but then again, neither is the 911 Turbo S itself, which starts at $204,750. That sum, however, nets a 640-hp sports car that rockets to 60 mph in a manufacturer-estimated 2.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 205 mph.
