I remember having discussion in 2016 about how much delayed this game is and not meeting their own deadlines, and dozens of fanboys were like ‘in half a year we will get squadron!’.
4 years later (9 years after starting development and 7 years after kickstarter campaign) release is still nowhere close. My ‘original backer’ account is only spammed with OCCASION! spend XXX to upgrade your ships! and if they do something well, it was the monetization. Actually releasing the game will be destructive for them as nothing work as expected, so the moment the game would come live, they go bankrupt. Better to sell dreams than actual product.
