Oh I know they won’t it’s just, NaughtyDog ended the franchise, whether anyone agrees or disagrees with the direction they took they ended it and I would hate to see someone else step on their toes and ruin an ending the original developer created. Least ignoring it and taking it in an alternative route would be like
“Oh we wanted to continue it but didn’t want to ruin what ND did so if you want the official, real ending you have it, it’s left untouched”
If you get what I mean
“Problem is I just see it going a super cliche route where I’m gonna end up rolling my eyes more than I want”
See this is my problem and they will. It’ll have these moments where Nate will get protective, forbid his daughter to go after the treasure or the group looking for the treasure, they’ll argue, she’ll leave, Nate will follow or something like that. The typical “family issues” with this sort of stuff.
Just a shame Amy Hennig couldn’t end this franchise when she was there to create it, without her “seeds” there would have been nothing to water and Uncharted would have looked very different without her input.
