I’m shocked at how they could make such a shoddy presentation. First of all just the presentation: Set up some proper cameras, sync the sound, record it with proper lav’s.
Also, what the hell? That Valhalla trailer was called gameplay? There wasn’t a shred of gameplay in it!
Also, what is this ‘expected gameplay’ thing? Is this a new buzzword for “we’re just guessing this is what it’ll look like in 2 years”?
And we’re not interested in seeing people on iPhone headsets talking about the the philosophy behind their game.
I’ll be honest, the Medium thing looked exciting, and the very first game at least looked quite decent graphically, but this presentation has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. It was basically just a trailed for the Xbox game studios thing in April.
