With the cord cutting age upon us, most people are ditching cable for streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. How we access those services, however, is up to us.

The easiest way to get streaming services on your existing television is to buy a streaming device, such as a Chromecast, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. They’re cheap, functional, and they receive plenty of updates throughout their lifetime.

Game consoles also allow for streaming things on your TV, so if you already own a PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, you can stream most of your favorite services on your TV.

Then, there are smart TVs. Some companies provide their own TV operating systems that support streaming services, while other companies rely on third-party platforms like Android TV. Either way, the convenience of having streaming services built right into your TV can’t be overstated.

If you own a smart TV, do you use the built-in smart features? Or do you rely on a secondary device like a Chromecast, a PlayStation, or something else? Let us know by casting your votes in the poll below.
