Exactly, It’s why we are paying a lot of money to move on, if you didn’t see much going on or see new games would be on the previous console you’ve just had then it would feel pointless.

Phil is only saying that because they are trying to spin a negative into a positive by making out they are being good hearted guys who have everyones interest at mind to cover the fact their new console won’t have anything to take full advantage of their powerful new tech for years.
I just find it hilarious moving onto a new gen, basically a totally normal, standard thing is now being made out to look bad and super “anti-consumer” because Microsoft is spinning it into that. They did the same for crossplay and backwards compatibility. They don’t have much going on based on their own stupid ideas so they try and make the competition look super bad for the smallest things. This year, the final year of the PS4 before new consoles we’ve had Dreams, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, it doesn’t make a difference if you liked/disliked those games, Sony has supported their console and gamers, while with the Xbox One, all we’ve had, yet again is more interviews from Phil.
