If the $1,200 starting price of Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Plus put you off buying one on day one, Amazon is running a promotion right now that may just tempt you to pull out your credit card. For today only, the price of the 128GB model is discounted by $250, dropping the phone to just $949.99. This is a record-equalling low price we’ve seen yet on the S20+, but you only have today to score these savings.

This one-day deal drops the price of the 128GB S20+ model to its best price yet, though the sale ends tonight or when sold out. The S20+ features a 6.7-inch display, 5G, Space Zoom camera, fast charging, and more.

There are tons of Android handsets released each year, but the Samsung Galaxy S phones are always worth paying attention to. 2020’s Samsung Galaxy S20 lineup is no different.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is the middle model in the S20 line, offering a 6.7-inch 120Hz Quad HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage. It also has a microSD slot so you can easily expand the built-in storage with minimal extra expense.

Water-resistance and wireless charging are, of course, present and the addition of 5G support means you can experience a superfast internet connection right now if you happen to live somewhere with 5G service. At the very least, you’re future-proofing yourself in that regard if you plan to keep this phone for several years.

The cameras are a key area of improvement in the S20 line this year. Both the S20 and S20+ phones still have a 12MP lens for the primary camera, but the pixels are about 30% larger so that substantially more light can be let into a shot. The telephoto camera has also been upgraded, now featuring a 64MP sensor with up to 30X zoom, as well as better low-light performance.
