The two stories played out perfectly to me. I came around to playing as Abby pretty quickly. Abby’s stories before and after Joel’s killing put things in a different perspective and real added a lot of depth. It was so much better than the typical caricatures where the player is the good guy and the NPC is the bad guy culminating in a boss fight where the bad guy dies and then poof…..happy ending. Role the credits. No, there was a lot more weight behind this story than that and I’m glad. Divisive game, sure. But it was well written and well told although a tad too long. A great experience though overall.
