The next Call of Duty game is Black Ops: Cold War

I’ve got my hope up for a black ops 1 style game based around the cold war era but they keep mentioning things like if you don’t learn from history you’re doomed to repeat it I wonder if it’s an indication that the game is a modern game hope not as the cold war era is a gold mine of untapped potential for a game

I’m all for era switching in cod WW2, cold war, Korea, modern, futuristic even the early to mid 2000s just don’t want to see the franchise go back down the route of releasing the same style game every year from black ops 2 to infinite warfare every game was a futuristic snoorefest for me.
