The 256GB OnePlus 8 Pro gets its biggest discount to date ($80 off)

OnePlus 8 Pro Amazon Deal

The launch of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have triggered a number of deals on previous models of the OnePlus range in recent weeks, but the latest flagships have rarely dropped below the retail price. That has changed today with an $80 price drop on the higher-spec 256GB model of the OnePlus 8 Pro, knocking the price down to $919.99.

It might not be the biggest discount you’ll see on a premium phone this summer, but the latest OnePlus line was already cheaper than a number of competing flagships while offering a superior experience in a number of ways. These savings mean that you can get the more powerful version of the OnePlus 8 Pro for just $20 more than the 128GB model.

The OnePlus 8 Pro was the undisputed winner of our Best of Android Awards last month. Such was its superiority that it took both the overall Editor’s Choice Award and Reader’s Choice Award in an impressive and surprising consensus. It also picked up the individual best performance and best display awards.

As well as powerful specs, the 8 Pro offers an amazing display, fast wireless charging on the high-capacity 4,510 mAh battery, and an official IP68 rating. It’s an excellent alternative to the Galaxy S20 Plus, and now it’s almost $400 cheaper.

The 256GB OnePlus 8 Pro is available in Onyx Black or Ultramarine Blue, but we can’t say how long the deal will last. Hit the widget below to find it.

With fast wireless charging, an official IP68 rating, and great battery life, this phone is what the OnePlus 7T Pro should have been.
