Fall Guys Charity Brand Battle Ends With $1 Million Dollar Donation

Fall Guys’ two-week long charity fundraiser has finally come to an end. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, G2 Esports, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, and Aim Lab came together to donate one million dollars to the UK charity Special Effect. Now the group will have special skins featured in the game show battle royale.

The donation came within a minute of the charity drive ending on August 31. YouTuber FGTeev held the lead as the final seconds counted down. Ninja tweeted his last second bid just in time to close the fundraiser out.

The donation will go to Special Effect, a UK-based charity that helps “level the playing field” for players with disabilities. The nonprofit has specialists that visit players with disabilities to help them create accessibility-minded gameplay setups. Though individual in-person visits are no longer possible, the charity is still operating during the pandemic.

The fundraiser saw dozens of companies and streamers put money and custom designs on the line for a chance to be featured in Fall Guys, the smash hit of the summer. It’s not clear if Mediatonic will incorporate four new skins to commemorate the winner of the contest since the original offer was only for one. We’ll find out soon enough, though.

“Unbelievable! THANK YOU to the winners and everyone who bid, and to Fall Guys for making it all possible,” the charity tweeted. “Your generosity will enable us to continue making gaming dreams come true for people with physical disabilities around the world.”
