Realme Watch S Pro IFA Presentation

  • Realme has announced the Watch S Pro, Buds Air Pro, and Buds Wireless Pro at IFA 2020.
  • The company will launch all of them in Europe later this year.

Realme just concluded its big IFA 2020 brand conference, marking its growing commitment to the European market. The company aims to make Europe its most important market after India over the next two years, and to that effect, has announced a number of new devices headed to the region.

Apart from bringing its existing portfolio of smartphones, Realme has announced that it’ll launch a new smartwatch called the Realme Watch S Pro for European markets. All we know about the watch is that it’ll have an AMOLED display and a round dial as opposed to the Apple Watch-like rectangular shape of the current Realme Watch. The company gave us a sneak peek at the Watch S Pro during its virtual IFA conference (pictured above), and it closely resembles the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, with two crowns on the right. The outer dial looks like it could rotate, but we really can’t say.

Next up is the Realme Buds Air Pro. The TWS earbuds will be a more premium version of the Buds Air that Realme sells in India. At first glance, they seem to be a copy of the AirPods Pro, but then again, it’s hard to find a pair of TWS earbuds these days that don’t borrow Apple’s design. The new Realme Buds Air Pro will feature noise cancellation and will be joined by the Realme Buds Wireless Pro when they launch in Europe. The latter is also new but not truly wireless, just like the current Realme Buds Wireless.

The Realme Watch S Pro and Buds Air Pro will launch in Europe in Q4 this year. Meanwhile, the Realme Buds Wireless Pro will land sooner. The company didn’t disclose any pricing information for any of the new products.

Apart from this, Realme also announced the Realme Smart Bulb, Realme Smart Cam 360 home security camera, and the Realme 55-inch smart TV for the European markets. All these products will land in the region “soon.”
