Idk if the downvotes are due to the first or second point, but here’s the bottom line. The fact that you don’t need batteries is a FACT. I fully understand, that some people prefer rechargeable AAs or battery packs and I have NO ISSUE with that whatsoever, but it doesn’t change the fact that you do NEED batteries.
On the second point though, I must disagree. I don’t use an Xbox One controller so I can’t speak to that, but I haven’t heard of drift issues. On the other hand, I have been using DS4 controllers since mid-2014 and I have had 3 go bad due to drift issues. I acknowledge that it does not seem to be super common, but it certainly was for me.
