Not a modder, but what would stop Sony from taking this patch as is and putting it through the proper quality assurance stuff that Sony typically uses when any other developer submits their patch to Sony?
EDIT: After reading the article, the title is incredibly misleading. The article sounds more like a form of blackmail. “If you don’t give me what I want then this is what I’m going to do”
That aside, if indeed the creator of the patch submitted it to Sony. Would Sony be able to certify it and release it themselves?
