Ubisoft: Beyond Good & Evil 2 “Progressing Well” Despite Michel Ancel’s Departure

Probably people who never played the first one or those who are so desperate for a sequel they don’t care how they get it, only to moan it wasn’t what they wanted after they’ve already given their money to Ubisoft.

Ubisoft try to mask their open world games within marketing that they are different from one another but going by the Watch Dogs 3 reviews it seems like they still haven’t learnt anything.

It’s clearly not worth changing your IP into something almost completely different. Ghost Recon has changed, Assassins Creed isn’t even about Assassins / Templars anymore and Watch Dogs has also done the same thing compared to the more serious, grounded first game.

Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry, The Division…do people really think they can be as ambitious as they are banging on about for Beyond Good and Evil and actually pull it off? If you believe that then I’m sorry, I hate to be blunt…but you’d be an idiot.

Beyond Good and Evil does not deserve that at all, and the main issue is if this game comes out where they’ve f**** with the story, then it’s going to taint everything we loved about the first one. The story will stick, it will become canon and it can’t be undone so easy.
