  • T-Mobile has stopped rolling out One UI 3.0 update to Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra devices on its network.
  • The carrier hasn’t said yet what’s causing the temporary delay.
  • We’ve reached out to T-Mobile for more information.

T-Mobile has temporarily stopped rolling One UI 3.0 to Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra devices on its network. The carrier, the third largest in the US by subscriber count, had been one of the first to push out Samsung’s new Android 11-based operating system at the start of December. “The update is currently paused,” T-Mobile says on the software support page for the Galaxy S20, which was first spotted by SamMobile. The support pages for the Galaxy S20 Plus and S20 Ultra say the same thing.

T-Mobile didn’t provide a reason for the temporary stay. When a carrier stops rolling out a major OS update to consumers, usually there’s a major bug in the software that slipped through the Q&A process. In either case, we’ve reached out to T-Mobile for more information and comment, and we’ll update this article when we hear back from the carrier.

Did you get One UI 3.0 on your phone before T-Mobile stopped rolling out the update? Did you notice any bugs? Let us know in the comment section.
