REVEALED: Why Xbox controllers still use AA batteries

This is just classic Microsoft. A marketing deal that they financially benifit from and label it as pro consumer, meanwhile condemning their customers to forever buying batteries or rechargable packs, which if you were honest, you would agree should be included with the controller to be considered pro consumer.

It’s not pro consumer at all, it’s completely for their benifit. The batteries are required for the controller to work. What if they left the ssd out of the console and said you can buy any ssd you like, it’s your choice, we’re pro consumer, only the console is not sufficiently cheaper and cost more when you buy the SSD. I don’t see how that would be any different. This is a dog move by ms. They’ve allowed their design process to be influenced purely by a marketing deal. Gamers deserve better.
