Samsung is offering pretty generous trade-in values if you’re looking to upgrade to the Galaxy S21. The best phone you can trade is the Galaxy S20, which nets you $700 off the new Samsung flagship. Since the base model of the S21 is available on pre-order for $799.99, both from Samsung and other retailers, that means you’ll end up paying just $99.99.
$700 is the maximum amount you can save, meaning you don’t get any more than that for the likes of the S20 Ultra or the Note 20 Ultra. More notable are the amounts you can save for trading in some of the older Galaxy phones. For instance, you can get $550 off by trading in the Galaxy S10e, and even $350 for a Galaxy S9. You could buy renewed versions of those devices for $339 and $249 respectively, then immediately upgrade.
