Oppo Find X3 Pro: Hot or not? (Poll)

Oppo’s Find X series just got a new member and it’s all kinds of premium, from design to specs. The Oppo Find X3 Pro carries forward some of the most admirable traits of its predecessor — a gorgeous 120Hz display, 65W charging, IP68 water resistance — and adds in new tricks to raise the bar.

Oppo stresses camera performance as one of the key strengths of the phone. The quad-camera array uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and so does the ultra-wide shooter. FYI, OnePlus will use the same camera sensor on the upcoming OnePlus 9 series.

Besides the two star cameras, there’s also a nifty micro-lens that, even though it’s gimmicky for the most part, produces some great close-up shots.

For speedy performance, the phone houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. Pair that with 12GB of RAM and an upgraded 4,500mAh battery, and you’ve got quite a taskmaster on your hands.

Finally, those who missed wireless charging on the Find X2 Pro would be happy to know that the X3 Pro is equipped with the feature this time around.

With all those great qualities, you might be wondering what’s there to complain about? Well, for one, Android Authority reviewer Robert Triggs notes in his Oppo Find X3 Pro review that the phone is too expensive. You get a great, premium device but at a price that’s no less than what you’d pay for an Apple or Samsung flagship.

The Oppo Find X3 Pro costs €1,149 (~$1,370), making it only slightly cheaper than the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Rob also thought that the phone is a fingerprint magnet and that only two of its four rear cameras are worth appreciating.

Nevertheless, the Oppo Find X3 Pro is a solid contender in the flagship race. After reading about its key features, pros, and cons, what do you think of the phone? Do you feel it has what it takes to compete with Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and soon OnePlus? Vote in our poll above and drop us a line in the comments section.
