Update – March 18, 2021: We have updated this article to show that WWE content is now available on Peacock. The WWE Network will shut down in the US on April 4.

  • The WWE Network will shut down its streaming operations in the US, as its content will now be available on the Peacock streaming service.
  • The agreement was first announced earlier this year by WWE and Peacock’s owner NBCUniversal.
  • Specific financial terms of the deal were not officially disclosed, but one source claims that NBCUniversal will spend over $1 billion for the rights.

Peacock, the recently launched streaming service, is laying the smack down for pro wrestling fans. NBCUniversal and WWE recently announced they have signed a deal that will allow the massive video content library from WWE Network to stream on Peacock.

The best news is that Peacock now has a special promotion that will allow users to sign up for its Premium service (with ads) for just $9.99 for four months. That’s a 50 percent discount from its normal price. This offer expires on April 9. You can sign up for Peacock at the link below:

When does the WWE Network content move to Peacock?

The streaming content previously found on the WWE Network will begin transferring to Peacock today, March 18. Peacock subscribers will see a new WWE hub on the service, which will take them to all of the content from the pro wrestling organization. More and more content will be added to the WWE hub on Peacock over the next several months.

When does the WWE Network shut down in the US?

The streaming service is scheduled to shut down on April 4 in the US.

How much will it cost to access WWE content on Peacock?

The WWE content can be accessed with Peacock’s $4.99 a month fee, with ads, or for $9.99 a month without ads. Those prices include access to all past and future PPV events like WWE Fastlane, on March 21, and WrestleMania 37 on April 10 and 11. The good news is that the $4.99 a month tier on Peacock is much cheaper than the WWE Network’s paid price, which was $9.99 a month.

Will some WWE Network content on Peacock be available for free?

Yes. Some of the WWE content will be available to access on Peacock’s free subscription tier. That includes episodes of shows like WWE 24, WWE Timeline, Raw Talk, and more.

Will WWE Network still work outside the US?

Yes. If you live outside the US, you can continue to access the WWE Network and its content.

Will WWE Network US subscribers get an automatic transition to Peacock?

No. If you are a paid WWE Network subscriber, your access will end on April 4 and you will be credited for any unused time on your subscription. You will have to sign up for a paid Peacock subscription if you haven’t already done so. Also, anyone who subscribed to WWE Network via a gift card will get access to an exchange program, where you can transfer your remaining credit to one of hundreds of other gift cards.
