Mordhau was made by players of Chivalry who wanted to do it better, the biggest difference between the two is polish. Chiv 1’s animation problems were never fixed and they abandoned the game, Mordhau isn’t perfect and now a few years old but looks a lot more fluid than the Chiv 2, i’m not convinced they’ve learned how to fix the original games issues but hopefully they have.
