One of the all-time great smartphone features has to be the always-on display, giving you information on your screen without having to touch the phone. It’s no wonder many manufacturers have added this feature to their Android skins.

Nokia phones were among the first to offer always-on display functionality back in 2009/2010, with the firm’s Symbian and Windows Phone devices grabbing it. Since then, we’ve seen the likes of LG, Samsung, OnePlus, and loads of other OEMs adopt the feature.

Is this something you use though? That’s the question we’re asking in our poll today. Let us know by answering below and leaving a comment!

There are indeed a few benefits to using an always-on display, as it gives you information at a glance such as the date and time, notifications, weather, and more. But one notable downside is that battery life tends to suffer while using this feature, although OLED screens are far more efficient than LCD screens in this regard. Do you think the info at a glance outweighs the battery life considerations?
