Epic better pray Tencent is allowed to keep their shares. Because if not, all this firestorm across the industry Epic is creating will come crashing down hard. And with them alienating almost the entire industry, they won’t have any real support.
Plus, I have no sympathy for Epic or Riot for helping Tencent in their efforts to control gaming.
To be fair, I know Tencent could have bought the shares even without Epic’s approval, but they didn’t even try to fight it. It’s like they wanted it to happen.
