if you’re starting with kingdom hearts 3, that might be 96% of the problem.
Start with the first game, because the gameplay holds up pretty well, even if a little dated. If you aren’t enjoying yourself by the time you leave the starting world then yeah, the series might not be for you – and that’s totally fine, too.
you could just also check out youtube video playthroughs, if you don’t want to deal with all the games!
