It’s been 4 years, and no substantial update for the Switch. It’s safe to to assume that the Switch won’t be getting in-console text/party chat or an update to the laggy store. If anything they’ll bring those changes to their next handheld. I just hope that whatever they bring out next is backwards compatible with Switch games and it’s network is the same. I’m very unsure that I’ll be buying anything Nintendo puts out cause they’ve done nothing to keep me engaged with the Switch but splitting up networks again would be the worse thing they could do
