SAVE $35: Need help managing your stress? Try a Headspace membership. As of July 22, get a one-year subscription for only $35 — a 50% discount.

The last year has been one of collective stress and worry — and if there’s one thing we all deserve, it’s to chill the hell out. If you’re having a hard time unwinding after a long day or are in the market to improve your sleep, beginning a meditation routine can be key. To get you started, Headspace is offering 50% off their annual memberships, giving you 12 months of access for only $34.99.

Headspace offers tools to handle just about every kind of feeling that life throws at you. With themed single classes and multi-class courses, you’ll be able to use meditation to focus your intentions, become more present in your day-to-day life, get clarity on managing difficult conversations, and more. (For more on the benefits of mindfulness, check out our semi regular series — the aptly named March Mindfulness.)

The app is broken down into four sections: Courses and singles, SOS, Timers, and Techniques and support. In Courses and singles, you’ll find guided meditations based on specific themes like acceptance, appreciation, creativity, or finding focus. Classes in the SOS section are meant for dealing with intense emotions like burnout or losing your temper. The timer section allows you to choose guided, semi-guided, or unguided meditations based on your desired length, and the Techniques and support section will offer you meditation tools to explore your practice as well as advice for how to deal with common obstacles.

Meditations range from five to 120 minutes, so even busy folks can benefit from taking just a few minutes out of their day to listen to a short meditation class. There are also meditation basics courses for mindfulness newbies who aren’t quite sure how to get started.
