Probably because when they find a successful game they then proceed to destroy any goodwill moving forward by riddling them with microtransactions and other heinous business practices like how the online pass killed Medal of Honor. Or how the success of apex legends has killed Titanfall. We’ll see how much credit EA supposedly deserves when we see what’s happened to Skate or Dead Space but I certainly won’t be holding my breath. We’ll be lucky if battlefields for the fans goodwill gesturing isn’t just more corporate bs veiled as a nostalgia trip to bag more sales for what’s hopefully not a buggy mess of a game at launch
