What does turning them off mean? If someone else has them on, then assassinations still occur right? I’m guessing this is referring to not accidentally triggering assassination animation by holding Melee button too long?
I’ve never turned them off. Experienced players use them only really when they want to punish/humiliate an unsuspecting opponent. I’d never use them in the middle of intense cross fire or if they are near teammates.
They were one of the best new features in Reach, so not pleased that they won’t be around at launch. But at least 343 confirmed that they will be a feature post-launch at some point. Still disappointing considering they’ve even had an extra year of development. Just how unfinished was Halo Infinite back in 2020?
