OnePlus took its new camera to new extremes, starting with skydiving

OnePlus continues to find new ways to show off the OnePlus 9 series camera, and now it’s launching an “Extreme Captures” series. Essentially, it’s putting the latest flagship camera through a set of intense scenarios to show you how you can capture your adventures.

Up first on OnePlus’ list of daredevil feats is skydiving. For years, you would have needed a GoPro or another premium action camera to capture your high-flying experiences, but those days are a thing of the past. The OnePlus 9 Pro captures crisp 4K 120fps video, and it looks even better in slow motion. Did we mention that the video was taken in a 3,000-foot free fall?

It’s alright if you don’t like heights yourself so much, as the OnePlus 9 Pro makes a great drone companion too. Even though the drone isn’t always stable, the camera can capture an impressively smooth video thanks to OnePlus’ Super Stable mode. That makes it even easier to have an eye in the sky, even if your feet are firmly on the ground.
