TL;DR

  • Key specs of the entire Vivo X70 series have leaked.
  • The tip provides juicy camera, SoC, and power details for the three phones.
  • Vivo is set to announce the X70 series on September 9.

The Vivo X70 series is launching later this week, but a new leak seemingly reveals the three phones’ core specs well beforehand. Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has published a table detailing the Vivo X70 Pro Plus, X70 Pro, and standard X70 in a little more detail. Interestingly, the leak suggests that the three phones could be available with MediaTek, Samsung, and Qualcomm SoCs.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus: Key specs

Let’s start with the former. Per the leak, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus is apparently the most impressive of the three products. It sports a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10 Plus support, 10-bit color, and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440.

A 32MP punch hole selfie camera reportedly sits up top in the center of the screen. A Zeiss-branded quad-camera setup could feature a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with f/1.57 aperture. A 48MP ultra-wide, a 12MP portrait, and an 8MP periscope shooter will reportedly join it. Based on leaked images, these cameras could be mounted in a unique camera hump. The system will also sport Vivo’s self-designed imaging chipset.

The X70 Pro Plus is tipped to land with the Snapdragon 888, a 4,500mAh battery, 55W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging support.

Vivo X70 Pro and X70: Key specs

The Vivo X70 Pro, meanwhile, slims down several of these specs. It seemingly shares the same screen as the X70, a 6.56-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,376 x 1,080 resolution. The same 32MP selfie camera, 50MP primary rear shooter, portrait, and periscope cameras used on the Pro Plus are present. However, a 12MP sensor pulls ultra-wide duties. It also reportedly employs the Exynos 1080 mated to a 4,450mAh battery and 44W wired charging.

Finally, the Vivo X70 also uses a 32MP selfie camera but wears only three on its back. Per the leak, that’s a 40MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP portrait shooter. It also packs a slightly smaller battery at 4,400mAh but includes 44W wired charging. In terms of processing power, the X70 could arrive with a Dimensity 1200 or an Exynos 1080.

The Vivo X70 series will make its debut on September 9, so expect to hear more about pricing, availability, and the configurations of each phone later this week.
