It’s easy to go out and spend nearly a thousand dollars on a 5G-ready phone. Yet, it’s not always necessary now that top speeds have made their way to some of the best affordable devices on the market. Take the OnePlus Nord N200 for example — it offers top speeds and a clean Android experience for just $239.

Maybe you’ve never given the budget-friendly OnePlus Nord line its fair chance. Fear not, as it still offers heaps of value that won’t hurt your wallet. Here’s what makes the entry-level Nord N200 so good.

Beyond an all-day battery

One of the biggest worries for just about anyone these days is how long you can make a battery last. Premium 5G speeds tend to burn through battery life faster, yet the Nord N200 packs enough juice to spend more than a day away from its charger.

OnePlus started with a massive 5,000mAh cell that offers 18W fast charging to get you back on your feet. Even with the huge battery, you should be able to get from empty to full in just 75 minutes. It’s easily one of the fastest chargers in this price range.

The Nord’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC does its part to help, too. It sips energy as opposed to chugging it, which leaves the phone with juice to spare after a long day.

A power-sipping chip and slick software

Mentioning the Snapdragon 480, it also offers smooth speeds. It’s fast enough to power past most sluggishness and it’s likely to keep up with the premium speeds you’re hoping for. Qualcomm’s first 5G-ready chips were exclusive to flagship-level devices, yet the Snapdragon 480 is just a taste of what’s to come for the best budget-friendly smartphones.

Of course, the processor isn’t the only trick up the Nord N200’s sleeve. It runs on the much-loved Oxygen OS skin, which offers a simple and elegant user experience. OnePlus has tailored a nearly seamless experience without much bloatware to bog you down.

You can also look forward to security updates. The Nord N200 will be secure for a long time to come, with three full years of security patches.

Plenty of camera options

You might find yourself worried that an affordable phone will come with sacrifices to the camera setup. Once again, the Nord N200 is bucking the trend. It carries a trio of lenses on the back panel with plenty of shooting options from night mode to portrait mode, and even a macro lens. HDR is always an option, too, and it should help to give a kick to any shot you take.

If you’re ready to try the OnePlus Nord N200 for yourself, it’s never been more affordable. T-Mobile’s network is your best bet in the United States, and you can get the Nord N200 for free from the Un-Carrier when you activate a new line right now.

You can grab it for free when you switch to Metro by T-Mobile, too, so there are plenty of ways to get your hands on this value-packed 5G device. What are you waiting for? Learn more at the button below.
