Save 55% on Cuisinart’s espresso machine, now under $90

The mornings that you need an extra shot of espresso (or four) are the same mornings that you don’t have the patience to wait in the Starbucks line. For those cases, you should probably have an espresso maker on hand.

Cuisinart’s EM-15 Defined Espresso Maker is on sale for $89.99 at Amazon and Best Buy — a more than 50% discount of of its regular $199.95.

The espresso brewing method requires a totally separate machine from your regular coffee maker. Espresso is slightly thicker than coffee because, technically, it’s just a really concentrated form of coffee — usually served in shot form. This is achieved through hot, pressurized water being shot through tightly-packed coffee beans. The impressively intense process (up to 19 Bars on this Cuisinart machine) happens in less than a minute.

Espresso is already typically a bolder taste than regular drip coffee, but the Cuisinart’s digital screen and buttons give you the option to customize flavor strength, as well as brew temperature and single or double espresso. All of your personal aromatic preferences can be nailed with Nespresso capsules (the EM-15 doesn’t use real coffee beans), then tossed in the built-in waste bin that holds up to 12 empty pods.
