TL;DR: Power up and keep your possessions secure on the go with the Battpak Power Bank and Travel Safe, on sale for $89.99 as of Oct. 14. That’s a 9% savings.

In 2021, our devices should be able to do more than one thing. Your air fryer should also grill and slow cook. Your earbuds should translate languages. Even your scissors should be able to crack a beer or stripe wire (or both). So, naturally, this double-duty power bank caught our eye at CES 2021 — and it’s on sale for a limited time.

The Battpak from Octave is a portable power bank that doubles as a secret safe for your stuff, making it the perfect on-the-go accessory for travel, festivals, camping trips, or even beach days. It packs a 10,000mAh battery, which gives you the ability to charge up your phone or other devices multiple times a day. It also includes a three-way USB-C, microUSB, and Lightning cable, so you’ll be set no matter what device needs juice.

When you press the “adult-proof” button on the outside, the Battpak pops open to reveal your hidden treasures. “Adult-proof” basically just means that those who don’t already know where the button is and how to open it will have no idea it’s even there. The secret safe is perfect for storing everything from cash to your stash. It has a wallet for your credit cards, cash, and papers, plus a strap that will hold cigarettes, cartridges, or anything else you need to store secretly. There’s also a sleek stainless steel magnetic tray inside, so you can magnetize loose articles to prevent them from shaking around inside.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Thanks to a custom PCBA circuit board, this power bank supports universal device charging. So, anything in your gadget arsenal can be powered up in a flash. Plus, it’s made with polycarbonate housing to protect your stuff — just like a fire-retardant safe. And at just six inches tall and four inches wide, you can easily slip it into your backpack, purse, or duffle bag for travel.

For a limited time, you can get the Indiegogo-funded Battpak on sale for $89.99 (regularly $99).
