The Flash Movie Clip Features Return Of Michael Keaton’s Batman

DC FanDome has delivered a thrilling new clip of the upcoming Flash movie, which excitingly features Michael Keaton’s offscreen voice as the one and only Batman. The OG Caped Crusader’s return in the movie has been known for many months now, but the initial surprise of hearing his voice in the role is something else completely.

The highly-anticipated film is set to have Ezra Miller’s Flash meet Keaton’s Batman in an adaptation of the Flashpoint storyline, potentially to reboot some elements of the DCEU. It’s been speculated that Bruce Wayne will take on a mentorship role–which this clip seems to support. The Flash is set for release on November 4, 2022. You can help pass a little bit of time until then by watching the newly-released clip below.

The Flash also stars Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, and Ron Livingston as Henry Allen. The movie has taken a long time to reach production–it was stuck in development for years and went through a revolving door of directors, including Seth Grahame-Smith, Rick Famuyiwa, and John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

In a recent interview with Collider, Keaton spoke about returning to the character after so many years. “Without giving anything away–because I can’t–the first introduction is so good,” he said. “When we walked on and started talking about a couple of shots and angles, I went, ‘Whoa, this is big. This is great.’ I don’t mean for me, I mean the imagery is really great and reminiscent, to some degree, of Tim Burton.” If you grew up watching the original Batman, get ready to potentially not mind feeling old.
