I disagree. Graphically the game looks fine not the best, but above average (for a last-gen / cross-gen game). The issue with me is the gameplay seems uninspired, and the awful level of motion blur they have makes the game look choppy in animations instead of smooth.
This game will live or die by its writing and story, because those are the areas that could make it worthwhile progressing through if it’s actually funny and a thrill-ride like the movies / comics…..but I won’t hold my breath.
Square make your $1 – $2 billion dollars and sell your western development studios to whomever (most likely Microsoft and honestly that’s a good fit IMO) and move forward with your AAA Japanese games and new Japanese IPs. You bought Eidos for 121 million, so you’re getting a 10x return on your original purchase price, and if it’s $2 billion that should cover the bombing that Avengers had as well as Guardians will likely have.
