$150 off the very new Roomba j7+

Save $150.99: As of Nov. 1, the new iRobot Roomba j7+ is on sale at Amazon for a record low price of $699, which is an 18% discount. It’s only the second time this new release has been on sale.

Given its short two months on the market, no one would have been surprised if Black Friday came and went without a discount on the premium Roomba j7+. That’s why its current $150.99 drop to a record low price is one of our favorite early Black Friday robot vacuum deals.

All the stuff you have to do before running your robot vacuum (like making sure the floor is phone charger-free) doesn’t exactly scream “hands-off.” The j7+ sets out to take that responsibility off your hands. iRobot’s new PrecisionVision Navigation acts as a pair of cord-sensing goggles for the j7+, lowering the chance it’ll get stuck on a phone charger.

The navigation technology can allegedly also recognize pet waste — so if your pet has an accident, your life won’t turn into a viral video of a robot vac splattering doo-doo on the walls.

You can set up cleanings a few different ways: Use the app, or let the geolocation on your phone tell the j7+ to get the job done while you’re not home. The iRobot Genius app update also includes custom suggestions based on earlier cleanings.

Rather than finding your phone to arrange a cleaning on the app — which often feels like more work than just grabbing the manual vacuum — a quick “Roomba, clean under the kitchen table” will take care of the crumbs on the spot.
