What’s In The Fortnite Item Shop Today – November 2, 2021: El Chapulín Colorado Arrives

November 2, 2021

While the Fortnite Item Shop is no longer full of Halloween costumes, there’s still a lot of dressing up to be done if you’ve got V-Bucks burning a hole in your e-wallet. Today’s new shop items include a brand-new crossover skin, though you’d be forgiven if you’re unfamiliar with the source material. Here’s everything new in the Fortnite Item Shop for November 2, 2021.

The newest item in today’s shop update is the El Chapulín Colorado skin. The jarring hero is modeled after a 1970’s Mexican sitcom that parodied the superhero sagas of its time. The leading man, El Chapulín Colorado, or The Red Grasshopper, was played by Roberto Gómez Bolaños, who also created the series.

Personally, I’m saving my money for a Karl Havoc skin.

It’s his likeness that comes to the game, though also on offer are several variants in case you’d rather put a different avatar in his inarguably stylish attire. Here’s everything in the El Chapulín Colorado set:

  • El Chapulín Colorado skin – 1,200 V-Bucks
  • Chipotle Chillón pickaxe – 500 V-Bucks
  • ¡Qué No Panda El Cúnico! emote – 500 V-Bucks
  • El Chapulín Colorado bundle (with skin, pickaxe, emote, and exclusive back bling) – 1,600 V-Bucks
  • Colorada bundle (with five different women characters in El Chapulín Colorado costume) – 2,000 V-Bucks
  • El Chapulín bundle (with five men characters in El Chapulín Colorado costume) – 2,000 V-Bucks

Elsewhere in the shop, time is running out for several crossover skins, but they’ll each be here for at least one more day. That includes Dune, Ariana Grande, and The Batman Who Laughs. The Resident Evil skins are gone for now, but as they weren’t officially a part of Fortnitemares, hopefully that means we won’t need to wait a year to see them in the shop again like so many other Halloween skins.

You can glance at the full store in one handy picture from iFireMonkey.

While it’s a relatively slow day for those looking to spend their V-Bucks, don’t forget we seem to be mere days away from a major crossover between Epic and Riot with the Fortnite Jinx skin.

GameSpot may get a commission from retail offers.
