Disclosure: RetailMeNot is owned by Ziff Davis, the parent company of Ziff Media Group and Mashable.

You’re already shopping this year’s early Black Friday deals, so you might as well earn cash back while you do it.

Whether you’re checking off your holiday gift list or snagging deals for yourself (no judgment), RetailMeNot’s Cash Back Day can help. By simply shopping at your favorite retailers, you can put money back in your pocket. Here’s what you need to know.

What is Cash Back Day?

Launched in 2019, RetailMeNot’s Cash Back Day (er, days) helps shoppers earn money back on holiday purchases. The event takes place this year from Nov. 4 at 12:01am ET through Nov. 5 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Over the 48-hour period, you’ll be able to receive up to 20% cash back on purchases at over 1,000 different retailers. Last year, shoppers earned $18 back per order on average.

How do you shop Cash Back Day deals?

Just head over to the Cash Back Day event page here and login or sign up (for free). Then browse the categories and select the cash back offer you’d like. Some deals are site-wide, while others are for specific product categories. Once your offer is activated, you’ll be directed over to the store’s website to shop. (Quick note: If you’re using the same offer more than once, you’ll need to activate it for each purchase in order to qualify. You can check your RetailMeNot wallet after the fact to make sure it was successfully activated.)

Once you’re on a store’s website, shop as you normally would. You’ll get an email from RetailMeNot letting you know how much you earned from your purchase after you check out. Within 45 days, approved rewards will be redeemable from your RetailMeNot wallet to either Venmo or PayPal — perfect for any last-minute or post-holiday shopping.

Pro tip: If there’s a specific deal you really want, shop as early as you can, as quantities may be limited for cash back offers.

Where do you shop the deals?

You can head on over to the Cash Back Day event page to shop, RetailMeNot.com, the RetailMeNot app, or use the RetailMeNot browser extension, Deal Finder (available on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) for exclusive deals.

Deal Finder exclusives

This year, you can earn even more savings during the Cash Back Day event through Deal Finder exclusive cash back offers. These limited-time exclusives are only available through the Deal Finder web browser extension. The extension is free to download, so be sure to add it to your browser before you start shopping.

What kind of deals will be available?

You name it, there’s likely a deal for it. Cash Back Day features exclusive deals of up to 20% cash back in categories like beauty, fashion, home DIY and decor, electronics and tech, gaming, and more from over 1,000 well-known brands and websites. You can expect to see cash back offers from Macy’s, Amazon, Nike, Verizon, Old Navy, and more.

The list is extensive, but here are some of the exclusive deals we’re looking most forward to.

You can check out the full list of retailers and offers here. Happy Cash Back Day, y’all. May the deals be ever in your favor.
