I’ve been playing Battlefield since Bad Company 2. I like 2042 for what it is. Portal is fun but no where close to how its been hyped up. For me Breakthrough is the game mode of choice in All Out War. Once everyone gets used to the maps (choke points, flanking routes) etc things should level out.
Should they have launched with more weapons for A.O.W? Of course. 2-3 more maps would have been tits as well. Either way the game was a blast for me and my son during the 10hr trial and I’ll be buying digitally for my PS5 this week.
P.S. Hardline was a damn good game as well. I could care less about the whole “it shouldn’t be called Battlefield” argument. I was too busy enjoying Heist. I like all the Battlefields.
