“I’m so sorry but I don’t agree with your opinion, but thank you so much for sharing with us.” Lady Gaga just showed us the most respectful, most generous way to disagree with someone’s opinion.
During a game of “Unpopular Opinion” with Greg James on BBC Radio 1, the House of Gucci star considered listeners’ opinions about everything from the correct way to sit in a bathtub, to a fear of jelly (that’s the British word for jello, FYI).
It was a rather bold move when one listener called in and proclaimed “I can’t stand singing in films” to Gaga, who sings in films and does it rather well too (she literally won an Oscar for it). But sure…go off.
At first she laughed, but then proffered up an opinion of her own: “I do love singing in movies and also I think it’s done really badly a lot, so I don’t completely disagree with you so I have a slightly unpopular opinion, I guess.”
But the listener went TOO FAR when he declared that his unpopular opinion also applies to Mary Poppins.
“How could you be mean to Mary Poppins?” asks Gaga. To be fair, she has a point.
