TL;DR: The Nintendo Switch OLED is going to be a tough get this holiday season, but you have a chance to get one in stock at Walmart. As of Nov. 20, a few are in stock (albeit at an inflated price of $516.70).
The Nintendo Switch OLED is yet another gaming console that is sure to be in short supply this holiday, like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. While not the most advisable move, we have found a way that you can get one if you’re in a pinch (and sitting on a pile of money).
As of Nov. 20, Walmart has a few Nintendo Switch OLED models in stock, but at an inflated price. Usually $349.99, Walmart has the handheld listed at $516.70. (We expect to see this kind of thing happening a lot throughout the Black Friday shopping season.) We’re not saying this is a great deal or anything, but if you’re really desperate to get one by the holidays, this may be one of your few chances.
Aside from the price inflation, the Switch OLED is a fantastic handheld console to pick up if you skipped out on the original version and the Nintendo Switch Lite. It’s more powerful, features more storage, and even packs in enhanced audio, but the real draw is that new, crystal-clear seven-inch OLED screen. We think it’s awesome.
So, if you’ve got the money to spare and you don’t want to wait, you can grab a Nintendo Switch OLED at Walmart while it’s still in stock for $516.70.
