Fantasy is being misused here. Most of those aren’t the fantasy sub genre. Notably Horizon Zero Dawn (apocalyptic futurism) FF7 (cyberpunk science fiction) and Bloodborne (Lovecraftian cosmic horror) Also as good of a game as Dark Souls is it isn’t as much an RPG as an action game. Very few characters or world building of note and not many choices or dialog options. It’s as bare bones as they come. I would probably give the best fantasy RPG title to Oblivion.
