There are gamers out there with more than one. But I’m older now, I’m good with one high quality product that suites my needs, play at one time and concentrate all my energy. I don’t need a PC one and a mobile one and a meditating one and a productivity one and an expensive one that no games support.
With PSVR2, it has many features from HDR, to eye tracking to Tempest 3D sound to Dual Sense controller haptics, etc. And PS5 has enough power that will carry it for many years to come with games like PSVR 1 has.
It’s not necessary to chase other headsets when I know 3rd Parties will be chasing Sony’s headset. Releasing a high quality game only on PC and not PSVR2 would not be a sound strategy for a company. It’ll be PC headsets that hope PSVR 2 games come to PC. That’s why a lot of them want Sony’s headset to be compatible with PC so that games might cross over from Sony. The port begging has already started.
Companies will eventually copy Sony’s headset. But I won’t need them.
