Thing is then Microsoft / Activision would just be bending to Nintendo’s unwillingness to change and get with the times.
Why should they have to throw money at a separate single player driven focused COD game just for Switch, I think the idea Microsoft has here is to allow COD on their console, the way it is on other consoles, for more sales, but if they have to do something brand new just for them then they could end up spending more money on something which might not bare any actual fruit.
I think all they’d really like is to have COD, release on all platforms where the only thing they’d need to work on is downgrading graphics/visuals etc for weaker hardware if needed.
