Jaden Smith and Lizzo get ‘Proud Family’ makeovers for Disney+ reboot

It wouldn’t be a The Proud Family reboot without a star-studded guest lineup. Disney revealed first looks at several celebrities, who will appear in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder — some as themselves — animated in the beloved original series’ signature style.

The new character art depicts Al Roker, Brenda Song, Jaden Smith, Lamorne Morris, Lena Waithe, and Lizzo. Roker, Morris, and Lizzo will play themselves.

This is not Al Roker’s first “Proud Family” cameo!

Kyla Pratt will reprise her role as Penny Proud, with many other voice actors from the original series returning.

Keke Palmer, Billy Porter, Asante Blackk, and more join the recurring cast, along with an extensive guest lineup beyond those pictured above; Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Chance the Rapper, Normani, Leslie Odom Jr, Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Debbie Allen, James Pickens Jr., Courtney B. Young Fly, Kid Capri, Art Evans, Arturo Castro, Ashton Sanders, Dominique Fishback, Jeremy O. Harris, Karrie Martin, Logan Browning, and Princess Nokia.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder premieres Feb. 23 on Disney+.
