TL;DR: As of March 26, the SpineDeck™ 2.0 Orthopaedic Back Stretcher is just $44.99, which is down 22% from its regular price of $58.

The human spine is complex. There are 33 interlocking bones that hold the spinal cord, with disks in between each one to cushion them. When those disks and vertebrae are constantly compressed — like when you’re hunched over your laptop all day — it can lead to back pain and increasingly poor posture. If you’re feeling the strain on your back of working from home, a back stretcher may be a good investment.

The SpineDeck 2.0 is an orthopedic back stretcher designed to help with tension in the back and elongate the spine. And for a limited time, it’s on sale for $44.99 — that’s 22% off its usual cost.

Made of durable plastic with 88 plastic pins and a foam pad in the center for spine cushioning, the SpineDeck rests flat on the floor with a rounded portion facing up. To use it, you lie on your back on top of the device, positioning the part of your back you want to stretch out over the curve of the stretcher. As you lie on the curve, you should feel not only a gentle stretching sensation in your back, but also an acupuncture-like feel from the plastic pins. With three adjustable stretch levels, you’ll be able to find just the right.

While there’s no clinical research on the health benefits of using a back stretcher for pain relief or posture correction, there is plenty of evidence on the benefits of stretching in general. You can use the stretcher as part of your normal yoga routine, as a means of mitigating stiffness after hours of sitting at work, or even as lumbar support during the work day (with the included chair holder).

It’s regularly priced at $58, but you can grab the SpineDeck for only $44.99.
