TL;DR

  • OnePlus has launched the Bullets Wireless Z2 earphones.
  • It’s said to offer 20 hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless series of earphones have long stood out thanks to quick charging and long battery life, but we haven’t seen a new model for a while. Fortunately, OnePlus has launched the Bullets Wireless Z2 in India alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro.

The new wireless earphones continue the tradition of fast charging and long endurance set by earlier offerings. This time, the Bullets Wireless Z2 promises 30 hours of battery life. The company also says you can expect 20 hours of usage from just 10 minutes of charging. By comparison, the Bullets Wireless Z offered 20 hours of total battery life and 10 hours of playback from 10 minutes of charging.

OnePlus is also offering 12.4mm dynamic drivers, an IP55 splash-resistant design, and AI noise cancellation. Otherwise, the earphones offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and support for the AAC and SBC codecs. So those hoping for aptX and other higher quality codecs might be disappointed here. Another downside is that Fast Pair tech is only supported when using OnePlus phones.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 has a recommended retail price of Rs 2,299 (~$30), but it’s currently available for Rs 1,999 (~$26). Expect to find it from April 4 at the OnePlus website, experience stores, Amazon India, and Flipkart.
