Faster charging than the OnePlus 10 Pro

TL;DR

  • A new leak has detailed specs for the OnePlus 10.
  • OnePlus is purportedly testing both Snapdragon and Mediatek versions of the phone.
  • The phone is also said to offer 150W charging and a larger battery.

According to the two sources, the standard OnePlus flagship will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, 8GB to 12GB of RAM, and 128GB to 256GB of storage. The phone is said to also offer a 4,800mAh battery and 150W charging capabilities — a notable bump over the OnePlus 9‘s 4,500mAh battery and 65W charging.

In terms of photography, the OnePlus 10 is said to offer a triple rear camera system. This is made up of a 50MP main camera, 16MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. The ultrawide camera seems like a step down from the OnePlus 9’s 50MP IMX766 ultrawide lens. Otherwise, a 32MP camera is apparently in use for selfies.

How much would you be willing to pay for the OnePlus 10?

Interestingly, Dgit and Hemmerstoffer report that OnePlus is testing two processors for the new phone. The company is said to be testing a “next-generation” Snapdragon chipset (presumably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus) as well as the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC. For what it’s worth, tipster Yogesh Brar previously claimed that a Dimensity 9000-powered OnePlus phone is on the way and that it could be the OnePlus 10.

Will the OnePlus 10 actually be worth buying, though? Well, that depends on the final price tag, and there’s no word on this just yet. But hopefully OnePlus is able to deliver a phone that’s competitively priced compared to affordable flagships like the $600 Google Pixel 6.
